Boat hire

If you want to go fishing, or just want to take a trip to see the coast of Sør-Helgeland from the sea, we have motor boats for hire. The boats are easy to drive and suitable for both fishing and sightseing as they are very seaworthy and have good stability. Life Jackets are included in the price and if you need fishing equipment this can be bought in the reception. Instructions will be given before your first boat trip. We allways have a stock of gasoline at the site that you can buy so you dont have to worry about transportation of this.

Our fleet:

• 8 aluminum boats (Kassbøll 660) with 23 feet by 80 -115 hp, inclusive chart plotter and echo sounders

• 7 boats 19 feet by 40-50 hp, inclusive chart plotter and echo sounders

• 3 bots 18 feet by 15-20 hp

Boat driver's licens is required for people who are born on or after 1. january 1980 and who will lead a boat with engine over 25 HP and/or is greater than 8 metres.

In the area around Bjørnvika Natursenter you can catch: cod, hallibut, pollack, pollock, mackerell and many more. The hosts are professional fishermen and showcase good fishing spots. We can also organize guided fishing trips.

Since we are a registered tourist fishing camp you can bring up to 20 kilos of fish or fish products from your own fishing when travelling from Norway. (The quota is only 10 kilos if the fish is not documented by a registered tourist fishing camp)

As a registrered tourist fishing camp we are obliged to report catches to the fisheries authorities. You will be handed a form that you have to fill out with the catch of the day and deliver back to us in the reception. Before your departure we will give you a signed document for you to show customs.
